BURTENSHAW, Brian Henry:
On April 14, 2022, at Yvette Williams Retirement Village, peacefully after a long illness; aged 75 years. Most dearly loved Dad of Antony, and Tania, loved father-in-law of Matt Tuck, adored Grandfather of Jake, Briar, Hunter, and Sophie, loved brother and brother-in-law of Beverley and Maurice* Davis, and loved son of the late Walter* and Vera* Burtenshaw. He will be missed so much.
Special thanks to the staff of Yvette Williams for their care and support over the past years. A celebration of Brian’s life will be held in the Southern Rugby Football Club, 26 Helena Street, South Dunedin at 1.00pm, on Friday, April 22, followed by private cremation. Peacefully at Vickery Court on Friday 15th April 2022. In his 83rd year. Loved soulmate and best friend of Colleen. Adored father and father-in-law of Gordon and Bronwyn, the late Geoff, Marlys and Michael, Sharleen, Rebecca. Loved grandad Mike of Sioned, Michael and Keryn, Annalys and Howie, Crystal, Troy and Chanelle, Zane, Kate, Abby. A loved great grandad to all his great grandchildren. FAVEL, Emma Mary (nee Kyle):
On April 13, 2022 peacefully at home in Khandallah surrounded by her loving family, aged 52 years. Dearly loved and cherished wife of Kent. Much loved and precious mother of Annabel, Francesca, Penny and James. Loved and treasured daughter of the late Bruce and Ann Kyle (formerly Waikanae), daughter-in-law of Betty and the late Lewis Favel (Winton), much loved sister and sister-in-law of Cameron and Rachel Kyle (Waipukurau), Nicola and James Laver (Waimarama), and the late Haydn Favel. Adored and loved Aunty to Naomi, Jonty, William, Molly and Victoria. Great-Aunty to Alfie and Freddie. Special thanks to the following organisations and their staff who looked after Emma so well and treated her with much kindness, respect and love – Wellington Hospital Oncology Blood and Cancer Day Ward, North Tower Ward 5, Mary Potter Hospice, Khandallah Medical Centre and Khandallah Village Pharmacy.
