COOK, Thomas Alexander (Lex, T.A, Cookie). Passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 16, 2018, at Windsor Park Care Home, Gore, with family by his side. Dearly loved Dad, father-in-law and Grandad of Carol, Warren, and Orsen Quertier (Vietnam), Paul (Gore), Patrina, Alister, Brianna, and George Hedley (Gore), and special mate to Jed and Bella. “Gone Fishing” A service to celebrate Lex’s life will be held in the Gore Town and Country Club Stadium, Bury Street, Gore, on Thursday, December 20, at 1.30pm, followed by private cremation. HAWKE, Rosalie Violet (Rose). Peacefully with her loving family by her side, in Te Anau. Dearly loved wife and best friend of the late Brian. MURDOCH, Peter Franklin. Peacefully after a courageous battle and with his loving family by his side, Peter passed away on Saturday, 15th December 2018 at Clare House, aged 77 years. Dearly loved partner of Margaret. Loved and respected father and father-in-law of Garry and Jason, Vanessa and Wayne, & Brent and Toni. Loved brother and brother-in-law of his extended family. PRUE, June Clark (formerly Townsend, nee McMillan). Peacefully on Friday, December 14, 2018, at Ross Home, Dunedin, aged 77. Dearly loved wife of the late Lawrie Prue; dearly loved mother of Karl, Brett, and Megan; friend of Lawrie’s family Lyn and Brian, dearly loved daughter of the late George and Annie McMillan (Morton Mains South); much loved sister and sister-in-law of Nancy and Bob Howe, the late Betty and Sam Doab, Shona and the late Mike Radford, and Peter (dec) and Sue McMillan; and greatly loved by her nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff and management of Ross Home who looked after June with great care and kindness. TAVENDALE, Sheila Norma Ailsa. On December 16, 2018, peacefully at Sandringham House, Oamaru, 2 days after her 95th birthday. Dearly loved wife of the late Les, much loved mother and mother-in-law of John and Lynley (Ashburton), Judith and Ian Isbister (Ardgowan), the late Muir (1990) and Lois (1996). Loved and treasured Nan of her grandchildren and Great-Nan of her great-grandchildren. A service to celebrate Sheila’s life will be held at the Orwell Street Church, Oamaru, on Thursday, December 20 commencing at 2.00pm, followed by a private cremation.
