Beloved Grandad of Brynley, Latasha, Shae, Brad, Jayden, Rachana, Tamee, Gemma, Amber, Tai, Kwaye, Tayne, Zivarn, Kaleb, Josh, Cassidy, Georgia, Courtney and Benson and Great-Grandad to Hudson, Jak, Chayce, Harlow, Dakota and Jett. SMITH, Harold William Lewis:
In the care of Albany House Rest Home, Gore, on Friday, March 13, 2020, aged 84 years. Loved husband of Ainslie, loved father and father-in-law of Lesley and Russell McLeod, the late Murray Smith, Ken and Nicky Smith, Jill and Fred Sutherland, Denise Smith and Terry Harland, and loved Grandad and great-Grandad Tik Tok of all his grandchildren. A service to celebrate Harold’s life will be held in Southern Funeral Home Chapel, 106 Hokonui Drive, Gore, on Wednesday, March 18, at 2.00pm, then leaving for Charlton Park Cemetery. TIPPETT, John Raymond:
On March 13, 2020, peacefully at home, aged 71 years. Dearly loved husband of Lesley. Cherished and respected father and father-in-law of Simon and Hilda, and Anna and Jamie Clark. Much loved grandad of Eli. Loved dear friend of Chanelle and George. Special thanks to the staff of Access Health Care for their tender care of John. An afternoon tea to celebrate John’s life will be held in our Westpark Chapel, 467 Wairakei Road, Burnside, Christchurch, on Thursday, March 19, at 2.00pm. WHITE, Charles George Campbell:
After a short illness on Saturday, March 14, 2020, aged 60 years. Dearly loved husband of Hazel, loved son of the late Campbell and Florence, loved brother and brother-in-law of Yvonne and Robin Reid (Methven), and the late Suzanne and loved uncle of Diane. Loved brother-in-law and uncle of the McAuliffe family. At Charles’ request a private cremation will take place. A memorial service to celebrate Charles’ life will be held with details to follow.
