Peacefully on Saturday, January 11, 2020, in Dunedin Hospital after a short, courageous and dignified battle, in the company of family. Much loved and cherished wife of Ken for 54 years. Loving and caring mother, mother-in-law and Grandmother of Stewart and Varn, Triton, Cody, Melissa, Aisha; Min and Lisa, Lochie, Danielle; Carolyn and Greg Marsh, Taylor and Tony, and Ash. Cherished Great-Grandmother of Layla. Dawn’s family wishes to thank the doctors and nurses at Dunedin Hospital’s ward 7A as well as those in ICU. A service to celebrate Dawn’s life will be held on Thursday, January 16, 2020, at 1.00pm in the Millers Flat Hall, 1665 Teviot Road, followed by interment. BENNETTS, Elizabeth Marian (Marian) (nee Hume).
Peacefully at Dunstan Hospital, Clyde, on Wednesday, January 8, 2020, aged 81 years. Dearly loved wife of Keith for 60 years, loved and cherished mother and mother-in-law of Colleen (Lincoln), Kay and Blair Stewart (Alexandra), and Stephen Jeffery (Roxburgh), much loved Nan of Megan; Timothy and Lucy, Samuel and Jess, and loved Great-Nan of Frankie. “A Courageous Lady” A special thank you for the exceptional care given from the medical professionals at Dunedin and Dunstan Hospitals. Peacefully at Clare House, on Saturday, January 11, 2020. In her 93rd year. Beloved wife of Frank. Loved and treasured mother and mother-in-law of Brenda Stuart (Ashburton), Alistair and Kay, Judy and Steve Murch (Alexander), Sally (Australia), Irene and Kembal Davis. Loved granny of the late Brendon and Paula, Grant, Mark and Samadhi; Scott and Fiona, Ian and Elena, Peter and Anna; Carrie and Hamish, Mike and Julie; Daniel and Crystal, and Grace. Loved great-granny of her 17 great-grandchildren. A loved aunt to all her nieces and nephews. LARSEN, Peter Carl.
On January 10, 2020, peacefully at Parklands Hospital, Christchurch, aged 84 years. Love husband of Joan for 60 years. Loved and respected dad of Alan, Paul and Neroli, much loved granddad of Levi, Henry, and Jack. Brother and brother-in-law of Ray and Marian Larson, Brian (deceased), Gordon and Isobel McIntyre, loved by all his nieces and nephews. A special thank you to the wonderful staff at Matai Ward, Parklands Hospital for the care of Peter for the last 17 months.
