Suddenly at home in Roxburgh on Tuesday, April 7, 2020, aged 58 years. Dearly loved husband to Ingrid, loved father to Amanda and John (Clydevale), and loved grandfather to Ainslie, Tiffany and Fraser. Youngest son of the late June and Laurie Henry, brother and brother-in-law to Mark and Jeanette (Dunedin), and Roger and Lynda (Queensland). Due to the COVID-19 lockdown restrictions a private family service has taken place. A memorial service to celebrate Steve’s life will be held at a later date with details to follow. Steve’s family wish to sincerely thank St John Ambulance, Police, Roxburgh Medical Centre, Church friends and family for their care and support. Passed away peacefully on April 11, 2020, in an Australian Hospital, aged 72 years. Son of Helen* and Thomas* Lay. Our treasured wife, Mum, and grandmother fought the good fight and passed away at Gore Hospital, with her loving husband Graham (Sandy) by her side, on Friday, 10 April 2020, at 7.50pm. Amazing Mum and mother-in-law of Karen and Mike Cook (Gore), Maree and John Murcott (Pisa Moorings), Neil and Jenna (Te Tipua), and Ross (Arrowtown), adored Grandma of Jack, Molly and Charlie; Angelina and Lukas; daughter of *Jack and *Mattie Cruickshank, daughter-in-law of *Stan and *Ivy Murdoch, sister and sister-in-law of *Ralph and Elaine Cruickshank (Gore), Trevor and Kath Cruickshank (Glenorchy), and a loved Aunty of her nieces and nephews.
