Peacefully in the loving care of Rowena Jackson Retirement Home on Saturday, 10th September 2022, aged 94 years. Dearly loved wife of the late George. Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Gary & Barbara, Alan & Gladys, Kevin & Bev, Colin & Lynda, and Daryn & Ruth. Adored Grandmother of her 8 Grandchildren and 19 Great Grandchildren. A service to celebrate Betty’s life will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street, Invercargill on Wednesday, 14 th September at 11:00 am. Passed away September 9, 2022 at Kamo Rest Home, Whangarei. Loved daughter of the late Jean and Harry Laurie, of Queenstown. Dearly loved sister of June, Bonny and Nelson. A service for Gay will be held in the Chapel of Morris and Morris Funerals (entrance 17 Western Hills Drive), Whau Valley, Whangarei at 1.30pm, on Wednesday, September 14, 2022, followed by a private cremation. RIDDELL, Jan Marie QSM (née Budge):
At home on Saturday 10 September 2022 aged 67, after a prolonged and stoic battle with cancer. Dearly loved wife and soulmate of Dave and dearly loved mum of Emma. Loved sister and sister-in-law of Carolyn and Otto Schmid and Sally and Lance Hammond. Loved aunt of André and Louise, Anna, Nicole, Ben and Brooke, great aunt of Maelie and loved friend to many. In accordance with Jan’s wishes a private cremation will be held. Special thanks to the district nurses who looked after Jan so well.

SHAW, Robyn Patricia (nee Dowling):
Peacefully after a short illness at Dunedin Hospital, on Friday, September 9, 2022; in her 65th year. A loved wife of Barry for the last 43 years, much loved mum of Kelly and Nick Braithwaite, Jared and Amber, and Travis and Vicky, adored Gran of Max, Mia, Lachie, Ruben, Alexander, and Louis. Oldest daughter of the late Patrick and Olive Dowling, and a loved sister of the late Barry, the late Gavin, Bevan, and Angela Dolton, a loved sister-in-law, and a loved aunty of her many nieces and nephews. Thanks to the nurses and medical team of the ICU Dunedin Hospital.

11/2/1924 – 10/09/2022. Peacefully and surrounded by the love of his family, Maurice passed away on Saturday 10th September 2022 at the ripe old age of 98 years.
