BREWSTER, Joy Mary.
Sadly passed away surrounded by family on Wednesday, June 5, 2019. Dearly loved wife of the late Eddie Brewster. Very much loved mother of John Brewster and Karen Wilkie. A gracious grandmother and great-grandmother and aunty. Joy and will be deeply missed by all. At Joys’ request, a private memorial service was held in New Plymouth.

COOK, Dianne Joy.
On June 9, 2019. Born at Lumsden in 1955, daughter of the late Henry Lee and Lorna Joy Cook. Sister of Des and Margaret (Perth), and Russell (Timaru). Burial at Geraldine Cemetery, on Thursday, June 13, at 1.00pm. Thanks to Barbara Scott and her family.

HUYNH, Tri (Wong).
Suddenly passed away at Southland Hospital on Friday, June 7, 2019, surrounded by his loving family. Loving husband of Ba. Loving dad and father-in-law of Michael and Amanda, Thanh, Antony and Jane. Loved Grandfather to Felix and Jett, Ariana and Matthew. Family wish to sincerely thank the staff at CCU/Southland Hospital for their care and support. A service for Tri will be held on Wednesday, June 12, at 1.00pm, J Fraser and Sons Chapel, Corner Esk and Doon Streets, Invercargill. A private Cremation will follow. JONES, William David Lindsay (Bill).
Passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, June 9, 2019, surrounded by loved ones, aged 74. Loved eldest son of the late Clayton and Queenie Jones (Riversdale). Dearly loved husband of the late Janice and loved partner of the late Elaine. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Allan and Elaine (Te Anau), Ann and Barry Newland (Gore). Dearly loved uncle of Vicky, Timothy, Quintin, Melissa, Kelly and Brad. Loving stepfather of Sandy and loving Grandad of Samantha. A very special friend of Aaron, Michelle, Jayden and Cameron Smith. A Celebration of Bill’s life will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2019, at 1.30pm, J Fraser and Sons Chapel, Corner Esk and Doon Streets, Invercargill. A private cremation will follow. THOMPSON, Tony Ross.
Aged 53 years. Passed away after a courageous battle, on Thursday, June 6, 2019, at home surrounded by his loving family and friends. Dearly loved son of Ken and Marlene (Tapanui). Much loved partner and best friend of Tania. Loved stepdad of Scott, Nicole and Luke. Much loved brother of Deborah and Alistar Price, Mark and Pauline Thompson. Loved son-in-law of Lorraine North. Much loved brother-in-law of Michael and Allison North, Allanah and Jimmy White. Fun loving uncle of all his nieces and nephews. A service to celebrate Tony’s life will be held in the West Otago Community Centre, Suffolk Street, Tapanui, on Tuesday, June 11, at 1.30pm, followed by a private interment at Tapanui Cemetery.
