CUSHEN, John Macdonald:
It is with great sorrow we announce the death of John, on Friday, January 7, 2022, at Calvary Hospital. John was husband and best friend of Mary (nee Restall), and loving father to Andrew and Holly, Karyn and Kate, Joanna and Phil, and Jennie, and extremely proud Poppa J of Grandson, Emery John. HENRY, Mac:
Of Woodlands. Loved husband and best friend of Jill. Brother and Brother-in-law of Jean and Colin Macnicol (Arrowtown), Alasdair and Wendy Henry (Mokoreta), Lois and Kevin Stanton (Gore), and David and Jacky Anderson (Winchester). A much loved uncle of all his nieces and nephews and extra special Big Mac to Little Mac. A service to celebrate Mac’s life will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street, Invercargill on Monday, 10th January at 1:30pm. LANGFORD, Joyce Isabel (nee Hibbs):
On January 9, 2022, peacefully at Christchurch Hospital, in her 93rd year. Dearly loved wife of the late Arthur, loved sister, aunty and friend.

A huge thank you to all the staff at Lady Wigram Rest Home and Hospital, and the staff of Ward 4b, Christchurch Hospital for your amazing care during Joyce’s time with you all. A vaccine passport is not required for this service consequently numbers are limited to 50 inside the chapel.

MOSS, Shirley Lorraine:
Mum peacefully left us last evening to be with Dad, she chose to go as Mum would do, quietly on her own on Thursday, January 6, 2022, at Bupa Longwood Care Home. Dearly loved wife of the late Bill for 63 years. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Allan, Pam Moss and Stuart Macintosh (Christchurch), Debbie Clark, and Allison and Brent Heydon (Upper Hutt). Loved grandmother of Thomas*, Michelle, Lisa, Joseph, Grace, Simon, Samantha, Bradley, Adam and Carl. Loved great-grandmother of Timothy, Annalise, Kaitlyn, Warren, Kimberley, Seth, Archie, and Mason. Sister and sister-in-law of Laurence* (Larry), Margaret*, Betty and Bill Maher. In place of flowers, donations to Otautau St. Johns will be gratefully accepted and can be made at the service. Passed peacefully at Ascot Care Home on Saturday 8 January 2022, aged 91. Dearly loved wife of the late William (Bill). Loved mother and mother-in-law of Eugene and Brenda, Mary and Maurice Nichol, Sean and Christine, John and the late Maureen. Much loved Grandmother of Justin, Simon, Ciaran and Sinéad; and loved Great-Grand-mother of Alice, James, Madisson and Liam.
