HOLMES, William Harold (Bill). Formerly of Gore and U.K. Passed away peacefully on February 5, 2019, at Ashwood Park Retirement Village, Blenheim, in his 91st year. Dearly loved husband of the late Mary, much loved father and father-in-law of Christine and John Buzan, and loved Grandfather of Damian and Aimee and their partners Patreeya and John. The family would like to acknowledge the compassionate care given by Doctor Frost, the Hospice and the staff at Ashwood Park Retirement Village. A service to celebrate Bill’s life will be held at the Springlands Chapel, Cloudy Bay Funeral Services, 15 Boyce Street, on Tuesday, February 12, at 2.00pm, followed by private cremation at the Cloudy Bay Crematorium.
McENTYRE, Michael Desmond. Peacefully at Southland Hospital with his loving family by his side on Tuesday, February 5, 2019, aged 68 years. Dearly loved husband of Val. Respected Step-Dad of Debbie, John, Michael, Nathan and their partners and loving Grandad of all his Grandchildren and his three Great Granddaughters and one Great Grandson. MIDDLEMASS, Ian Neil (Neil). On Wednesday, February 6, 2019. Loved husband and best friend of Colleen (Collins), loved father and father-in-law of Bryce and Sienna, Logan and Chelsea, loved brother and brother-in-law of Cheryl and Gavin, Wayne and Barb, Diane and Rod, loved brother-in-law of Lynley and Hugh, Russell and Leeanne, Diane and John, Karen and Dave, and Nigel, loved Uncle of all his nieces and nephews, loved friend of Tennille, Courtney and Ben. Loved “muso bro” of Lyndon, Brendon and Steve. A service to celebrate Neil’s life will be held in The Gate Conference Centre, Barry Ave, Cromwell, on Monday, February 11, at 1.00pm, followed by a private cremation. Messages to 3 Gilling Place, Cromwell 9310. In lieu of flowers Neil’s family have compiled a CD of music sung by Neil which will be available at the service for $10. Proceeds from the CD will be donated to Central Otago Hospice.
