Passed away as the result of a tragic accident at Ikamatua on April 4, 2022, aged 26. Cherished and deeply loved partner of Will, dearly loved daughter of Cathy and David, and Lex, loved sister of Melissa, devoted and respected ‘big sister’ of Amelia, beloved granddaughter of Chrissie and the late Peter Brown, and the late Alvin and Jean Brightwell, a loved niece, cousin and a friend of many. Sadly passed away on April 1, 2022. Devoted and loving husband of Yvonne and much loved father and father-in-law of Annalise and Andrew Hume (Melbourne), and Nicholas (Nick) of Invercargill. As the result of an accident on Saturday, 2nd April 2022 at Dipton, aged 49 years. Loved father of Meagan, and a good friend to many. NAUNAU, Lepupa Lole Samaotâ (Lenny, Olly):
Unexpectedly passed away on Saturday 2 April 2022, surrounded by his loving family. Best friend and soul mate of his wife Hazel – the love of his life. Great mentor, loving father and father-in-law to all, of Seiloga and Phillip Rangi, Lole and Kerstyn Lole, Utufiu and Kandice NauNau. Kindest, generous, biggest hearted loving Grandad and Great-Grandad of all his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren – and all those he opened his home and heart to. Lepupa was a loving brother, brother-in-law to all his family and extended family. Loving Uncle to all his nieces and nephews. The Family service will be held on Friday 8 April at 5pm, the Funeral service to be held on Saturday 9 April at 11am, both in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 205 North Road, Invercargill. Loved father and father-in-law of Ross* and Bev (Riversdale), Dale and Joanne (Auckland), Ray* and Viv (Te Anau), Brent and Janet (Clyde). Loved grandfather of all his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A service to celebrate and remember Lewis’s life will be held at 12.00pm (NZ Time) on Monday, April 11, 2022, in the Lakeside Presbyterian Church, 112 Te Anau Terrace, Te Anau, followed by interment at the Lynwood Cemetery.
