After a short illness. Aged 82 years. Dearly loved son of the late Arnold and Elsie, and a much loved friend of many. A gathering to celebrate Bruce’s life will be held at Club Southland, Leet Street, Invercargill, on Saturday, February 5, 2022, at 3.00pm. A private cremation has been held.

At rest after a courageous journey. Passed away peacefully at Resthaven Gore on Wednesday, February 2, 2022. Dearly loved wife of the late Bill Wilson (Mataura). Loved mother, of Colin and Joanne (Wellington), Trevor and Dianne (Gore), Bruce (Mataura), Linda and Craig Sinclair (Mataura), Brian and Fiona (Perth W.A.) and their families. A dearly loved grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. In her 86th year. Dearly loved daughter of Henry* and Tui* Wright, and sister and sister-in-law of Gordon* and Melva*. Daughter-in-law of Bob* and Rita* Wilson. Loved sister-in-law of Alan* and Florence*, Ian*, Ken* and Janice, and Mervyn. Loved Aunty to her nieces and nephews. A beloved member of the Mataura Presbyterian Church.

A service to celebrate Shirley’s life will be held at the Mataura Presbyterian Church, Kana Street, Mataura, on Saturday, February 5, 2022, by invitation only, followed by interment at the Mataura Cemetery. Vaccine Passports are required. In lieu of flowers donations may be left at the service for the Hokonui St John Ambulance. Messages to 2 Allen Street, Mataura 9712.
