BROWN, Frank Alexander. Passed away peacefully at Peacehaven with family by his side on November 1st 2018, in his 88th year. Much loved husband, friend and companion of Mavis. Loved only son of Alex* and Myrtle* Brown, loved son-in-law of Tom* and Charlotte* Keen. Loved brother-in-law of Mervyn* and Ruth* Stewart. A service to celebrate Frank’s life will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel on Monday November 5th at 1.00pm. VALENTINE, Logan Frank (Log Dog). 31/10/1991 ~ 29/10/2018 of Bluff. Left us suddenly and much loved by so many. Robyn and Don (Grandparents), Doreen (Great-grandmother), Tony (father), Amanda (mother), Harley (brother), Bonnie (sister); Trudy, Shyann-Darryl, Jak, Mirinea, Ryden, Kaenin, Reid, Dylan, Maddison, Nevaeh, Noel. Loved by all his uncles, aunties, cousins, and many friends. A service will be held in Bluff Rugby Clubrooms, Foyle Street, Bluff on Saturday 3 November 2018 at 10am, followed by private cremation. BLACKLER, Myra Ellen (nee Hunt). On Thursday, November 1, 2018, at Southland Hospital; aged 85 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Ron Blackler, much loved mother and mother-in-law of Murray and Lyn, the late Stuart, Susan, and loved Nana of Nicola, Lisa, and Casey, and Nana Myra to Ella, Isaac, Flynn, Patrick, and Thomas. Loved sister and sister-in-law of Cathy* and Bill*, David and Val, Tommy and Daphne*, Ethel and Keith, Dennis and Mary, and loved aunty of all her nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the caring staff at Rowena Jackson and Southland Hospital. A service for Myra will be held in J Fraser and Sons’ Chapel, corner Esk and Doon Streets, at 2.00pm, on Monday, November 5, followed by a private cremation.
