ALLAN, Margaret Hannah (Peggy) (nee Watson). Late of Riverton, Winton and Edendale. Peacefully, our wee darling passed away, aged 88 yrs, on Monday 29 July 2019, at Walmsley House, Invercargill. Loved wife of the late Jimmy, mother of Vicki (Italy). The last surviving member of the Watson family of 14 children (Otautau). Much loved, fun-loving Aunt of her nieces and nephews. Loved sister in law of Val Leutele, and Doug Allan (Invercargill). Our very grateful thanks to the Walmsley girls for your love and special care shown to Peggy during her 4.5yrs with you. She loved you all. We will miss her fun sense of humour, making us laugh and smile. Tragically taken far too soon on July 29, 2019. Loving fiancé of Danielle. Precious son of Annette and Pat, and future son-in-law of Lisa and Rob. Beloved brother and brother-in-law to Brenton and Jennifer, Jessica and Shayne, Jeffrey and Sarah, and Samuel. Special uncle to Kingston, Chloe, Elsie and Thomas. Cherished grandson of Nana Barbara and Grandpa Rex (dec), Marlene (dec) and Michael (dec), Jeff and Michele, and Annette. A valued and dedicated fire fighter who served his country proudly. PIERCE, Creed. Passed away on Wednesday, 17th July 2019 in Lima, Peru. Beloved son of Diane and Norman Pierce. Loved brother of Corey*, Paige, and Celia. Grandson of Norman Senior and Jewel, and Pam and Allan Reynolds. R.I.P. A Requiem Mass to celebrate the life of Creed will be held in the St. Mary’s Basilica, Tyne Street on Tuesday, 6th August at 1:00pm. RISK, Lester Robert.
Peacefully surrounded by family at home in Cromwell on Wednesday, July 31, 2019, aged 73 years. Dearly loved husband of Pat for 52 years, loved father and father-in-law of Tracey and David Wheeley (Limehills), and Jenni and Craig Hall (Invercargill), and loved Grandad of Sam, Molly, George and Lucy. A memorial service to celebrate Lester’s life will be held in the Cromwell Bowling Club, Alpha Street, on Monday, August 5, at 2.00pm. Lester’s family wish to sincerely thank Gayle McCormack, the carers at Central Otago Hospice, Dr Brendon Pauley and the staff at Dunstan Hospital for the wonderful care Lester received during his illness.
