Much loved husband of the late Olive, father and father-in-law of Mark and Susan Bell (Christchurch), and Lynne and Roy Bridgman (Rolleston). Loved “Grandy” of Amber and Dixon, Pyper, and Ali Rooney; Courtney and Matt, Zak and Ollie McLeod; Steven and Casey Bell, and Anne and Jono Spence.

BROWNLIE, Laurence Robert Aitken.
After a valiant battle Laurence passed peacefully on June 13, 2019. Dearly loved husband of Yvonne, loved father and father-in-law of Conrad and Liz (Perth), and a much adored Grandad of Sophie and Joel. Loved brother, brother-in-law and uncle of Diana and the late Ken Stiven, Esme and Gordon Sim, Sandra Huisman, Daphne and Mick Bennett and their families. CLEARWATER, Alexander Bently (Lex). 14.5.1952 – 26.6.2019
After a courageous battle, Alex passed away peacefully surrounded by his family. Dearly loved husband of the late Ailsa Clearwater. Much loved father and father-in-law of Gregory, Shelley and Michael Hitchcox. Loved grandad of Keaton, Shqkira, K’lee and Osian. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Ian and Valerie, Jill and Bob Krause. Loved uncle of Kerry and Karl, Tony and Nelly, Aron and Rose; and Shannon. Thanks to the staff of Ward 8C Dunedin Hospital for their care of Alex.
What we keep in memory is ours unchanged forever.

Peacefully, on Wednesday, June 26, 2019, at Windsor Park Rest Home, aged 91 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Stuart, loved mother and mother-in-law of Jeffrey and Julia Grant (Balfour), Sharon Grant and Dene Maxwell (Petone), much loved Nana of Toni, Sam and Hannah, Amanda, and Olivia, and great-Nana of her three great-grandchildren. Loved sister of the late Russell Anderson, Mark Anderson, and the late Linden Hull. A service to celebrate Elaine’s life will be held in Southern Funeral Home Chapel, 106 Hokonui Drive, Gore, on Saturday, June 29, at 2.00pm, private cremation to follow. Peacefully at Ashburton Hospital on Thursday, June 27, 2019, aged 90 years. Loved husband of the late Barbara, dearly loved father and father-in-law of Les and Tania, Adele and Richard, and Brent and Joanne, and special father of Trish and Ravin.
