Sadly, passed away suddenly on Saturday 18 July 2020, aged 82 years young. Devoted husband and soul mate of Noeline. Dearly loved father and father- in-law of Rawiri* and Robynne, Tane and Anissa, Paki and Jo, Luana and Jason. Adored grandfather of Chad, Whitney, Brandon and Kate, Danyon, Josh, Jess, Katie and Aiden, Olivia, and Sam. Jimmy also leaves behind cherished great grandsons Theodore, and Thomas. At Hospice Southland Joan reached the end of her journey. In true Joan style, she elegantly and peacefully passed away surrounded by her family. Much adored mother and mother-in-law of Tony and Tina, Melanie and John, Helen and *Matt. Much loved Nana Mac of Izak, Louise, Courtney, Tangaroa, Ruby, and Great-Nana Mac of Caleb, George, and TeKauenga. A service to celebrate Joan’s life will be held at Ascot Park Hotel, Invercargill on Monday, July 27 at 11.00am followed by private cremation. Peacefully on Tuesday 21 July 2020 at Southland Hospital; aged 60 years. Dearly loved daughter of Betty and Bill Snell, much loved sister of Debbie and Peter O’Sullivan (Christchurch), special aunt of Julia O’Sullivan and Matt. Much loved cousin and niece of all the family, loved granddaughter of the late Vera Wilkie. A service for Sandie will be held in the Lindisfarne Methodist Church, Miller Street Invercargill on Saturday 25 th July at 11.00am, private cremation to follow.
