BEATTIE, Catherine Ann (Cath) (nee Bagrie):
Peacefully, on June 28, 2022, at Clutha Views Lifecare, Balclutha; aged 81 years. Dearly loved wife of Victor for 58 years, a much loved mother and mother-in-law of Darlene Williams and John Phillips, David and Sarah, a cherished Mumz and Nana Cath to Emma, Sarah and Robert Williams; Michael, and Grace and a cherished great-grandma of Harrison, loved sister of *Allan Bagrie, Ivan and Helen Bagrie, loved sister-in-law of *Daphne and *Tom Miller, *Esmond and Sylvia Beattie, and a loved aunt of all her nieces and nephews. The family wish to thank Clutha Views Lifecare for their wonderful care given to Cath. A service to celebrate Cath’s life will be held on Tuesday, July 5, at 1.30pm, in the Clinton Community Centre, followed by interment at the Clinton Cemetery. COLLIE, Lyall Hazlett:
1941 – 2022
Lyall died at home, on Sunday, June 26, 2022. Loved husband for 57 years of Gill, loved father of Brent, Cheryl, and Rachael, Grandpa of Ariella and Pearl Jeffery; and Jack Collie. Father-in-law of Oliver Jeffery. Brother of Rex*, Bryan, Wayne, Max, and Alan, brother-in-law of Cheryl, Ailene, Judy, and Kate Collie; Les and Dave Jones, Susan Crozier, and the late Colin Baird, and a loved uncle, cousin and friend to many. A big thank you to Hospice Southland and the District Nurses for all the care Lyall received over the last few months. According to Lyall’s wishes, he has been cremated. FORSYTH, Eric Leslie:
13.6.1942 – 27.6.2022
With much love and sadness, we farewell Eric who passed away peacefully after a long illness in the home he loved surrounded by his family 2 weeks after his 80th birthday. Dearly loved husband of the late Beverley, now at peace together. A much loved father of Alan, Neal and John Forsyth and Karyn Nally. Adored and much loved Granddad to his grandchildren.
