On February 13, 2022, Margaret passed away in Christchurch, with family at her side, in her 90th year. Loved wife of the late Merven, loving mum and mum-in-law of Sharon and Allan Fyfe, John and Ella, Grant and Lynn, loving grandma of Jo and Paul Carmichael, Maree and Nathan Mote; Nathan, and Blair, loved Grandma-Marg of Madi Carmichael, Kolby, and Brooklyn Mote, and Oliver, Isobella, and Charlotte Robertson, a loved sister, aunt, and friend. Messages may be addressed to The Family of the late Margaret Hamilton, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. In accordance with Margaret’s wishes, a private service has been held.
