Passed peacefully at Clutha Views Lifecare, on December 16, 2020; in his 83rd year. Loved father of Lynda, and James, beloved brother and brother in-law of Cath and the late Les, Betty and the late Stan, John, Nancy and David Leslie, and beloved uncle of his nephews and nieces. Great companion, and dearest friend of Nan Rickard. Lynda, and James would like to send a special thanks to the staff and nurses at Clutha Views Lifecare for nurturing care for their father. BOLGER, Leigh Ann:
Peacefully surrounded by her loving family and friends on Wednesday, December 16, 2020, aged 55 years. Loved wife of David (Bolg), much loved Mum and mother-in-law of Samuel and Holly, Jordan and Nikki, loved G-ma of Jack, and Indy and mate of Duke.
A dear friend to many; she will be sorely missed.
A service to celebrate Leigh’s life will be held in Gore Town and Country Club, Bury Street, on Monday, December 21, at 1.00pm, followed by private cremation. Leigh will be resting at Southern Funeral Home for those that would like to pay their respects. Donations to Gore Hospital Whanau Room may be left at the service. Of Heddon Bush, peacefully at Clare House, Invercargill, on Wednesday, December 16, 2020; in his 92nd year. Much loved husband and best friend of Nancy for 64 years. Loved father and father-in-law of Greg and Liz (USA), Dalene and Howdy, Paula and Dave, Mark and Joan. Loved and respected Grandad Des of all his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Loved brother, brother-in-law and uncle of all the Forde and Rizzi families. Also, special family friend of Steven Hubber, John Kuyf and Owen Saunders. A service to celebrate the life of Des will be held at 2.00pm, Monday, December 21, 2020, at St Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, Winton, followed by interment at the East Winton Cemetery. WILLIAMS, Evan James (Chou):
On December 15, 2020 at Dunedin Hospital; aged 76 years, after a brief battle with cancer. Dearly loved husband of Jeane, much loved father and father-in-law of Michael and Julie, Duane and Raewyn, Stacey, Andrew and *Kent. Cherished grandfather of Hayden, Sheldon, Conrad, Jaclyn, and *Blake; Cameron, and Adam; Logan, Josh, Taylah, and Rylie. At Evan’s request, a private family service will be held, followed by a private cremation. A Memorial service to celebrate Evan’s life will be held at the Clutha Valley Rugby Clubrooms on Wednesday, December 23, from 2.00pm.
