Suddenly at Southland Hospital on Sunday 2nd January 2022. Loved wife and soulmate of Victor. Loved mother and stepmother of Simon, Roy, John-Paul*, Simon*, Gareth, and Dylan, much loved Grandma of all her grandchildren. Loved aunty of all her nieces and nephews. A service to celebrate Gillian’s life will be held in the Southland Crematorium Chapel, Rockdale Road Invercargill on Saturday 8th January at 10.30am. Dearly loved wife of the late Neil, cherished Mum and mother-in-law of Amanda and Taura (Rolleston), Andre and Leeanne (Brisbane), Jared (Gore), and dearly loved and caring Nana of Amy, Kieran, Joe and Lily. Loved sister and sister-in-law of Heather and *Ken McDowall (Gore), Pam and Colin Woodrow (Waikana), *Peter Cruikshank, Kate and *Rick Leebody (Dunedin), Barbara and Frank Hartley (Christchurch), and loved Aunty and friend to all her nieces and nephews. MITCHELL, Herbert James (Herbie):
Passed away peacefully on the 23rd December, aged 86. Dearly loved husband of Elizabeth for over 62 years. Dearly loved father and role model to Malcolm and Ruth. Treasured and loved Grandad to Hannah. Loved father-in-law to Karen. Will be sadly missed. “Absent from the body and to be at home with the Lord” who he faithfully served. A service to celebrate Herbie’s life will be held on Monday 10th January 2022 at 10 am. WINDLE, Kevin John:
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Kevin on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at Rowena Jackson in Invercargill. Kevin was the dearly loved partner of the late Joyce McKay, brother and brother-in-law of Margaret and Ray (Invercargill), father and father-in-law of the late Jackie and her husband Pete (Cromwell), Nicola and John (Auckland), and Maurice (Napier). He was a cherished poppa and granddad of Hannah, Coby, Riley, Tanner, and Carter, a dearly loved uncle of Michael, Veronica, Brendan, Damian, and their families, a treasured friend to Joyce’s family, and a dear neighbour.
