MITCHELL, Herbert James (Herbie):
Passed away peacefully on the 23rd December, aged 86. Dearly loved husband of Elizabeth for over 62 years. Dearly loved father and role model to Malcolm and Ruth. Treasured and loved Grandad to Hannah. Loved father-in-law to Karen. Will be sadly missed. “Absent from the body and to be at home with the Lord” who he faithfully served. A service to celebrate Herbie’s life will be held on Monday 10th January 2022 at 10 am. WINDLE, Kevin John:
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Kevin on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at Rowena Jackson in Invercargill. Kevin was the dearly loved partner of the late Joyce McKay, brother and brother-in-law of Margaret and Ray (Invercargill), father and father-in-law of the late Jackie and her husband Pete (Cromwell), Nicola and John (Auckland), and Maurice (Napier). He was a cherished poppa and granddad of Hannah, Coby, Riley, Tanner, and Carter, a dearly loved uncle of Michael, Veronica, Brendan, Damian, and their families, a treasured friend to Joyce’s family, and a dear neighbour.
