Bluff children are in for a treat this School Holidays with a Fun In Bluff School Holiday event taking place at the Senior Citizens Rooms at 10 Onslow Street in the port town on Wednesday 15 July.
Hosted by the Invercargill City Libraries and Archives the day features a range of activities between 10.30am and 3.00pm. It is a day of craft, stories and fun, lunch is included and it is all free. Registrations are not necessary.
From 10.30am until 12 noon children have a choice of activities including Crafting Stars – cutting out and colouring stars for canvasses, Matariki Star Jars and making rewena bread and preparing vegetables for the shared kai at lunchtime.
Between 12noon and 1.00pm there is Karakia with Ra Dallas and shared Kai while from 1.00pm until 3.00pm there will be Maori Craft with Jay Coote from Sport Southland, Wool Weaving Stars and Storytime.
