Delays continue on Frankton Rd, Frankton, Queenstown following a collision involving a school bus and another vehicle.

  • One child from the bus was transported to hospital with minor injuries.
  • The driver of the other vehicle has suspected moderate injuries.
  • Police are working to open up one lane to get traffic flowing.

Update – collision in Frankton, Queenstown

One person has been taken to hospital by ambulance following a collision between a school bus and another vehicle on Frankton Rd, Frankton, Queenstown.

The person, from the school bus, has minor injuries.

The remaining occupants of the bus have been transferred to another bus and are continuing to their destination.

A person in the other vehicle is injured, but there are no details on the severity.

There is a backlog of traffic in the area and motorists should continue to expect delays.

The reports were received at 3.49pm, and the location of the crash was given as between Sugar Lane and Yewlett Crescent.
