Fight for Gold 2020 was a huge success to kick off 2020 for SPW on Saturday night! Despite competing with numerous events going on in the city due to Burt Munro, we still sold out the Corinthian Centre with a loud and rowdy crowd!
The show was filmed for a future TVNZ DUKE release.
This was SPW’s first live event in 2020 and it was promising to see we still have huge support form the local community and a great following full of loyal supporters ready to follow our story lines and action inside the ring!
The Main Event saw SPW New Zealand Champion ‘Shooter’ Shane Sinclair defend his championship in a Ladder Match against Falcon Kid. This was a high risk match full of daredevil, high flying stunts!
The SPW New Zealand Tag Team Champions and crowd favorites Will Power & Hammer also defended their Championships against the team of Ben Wolf & Carnage in a physical back and fourth match.
SPW returns to the Corninthian Cente on Sat 4th May for Battle Lines with stops in Wellington and Queenstown before then.
