Southern Police can now confirm the name of the 24 year old male who died as the result of a single car crash as David Sandri, of Lumsden.
Police are still conducting a serious crash investigation into the cause of the crash and, as yet, police are unable to comment on the cause.
At approximately 11.45 pm on Saturday 17th October 2015 Police and Emergency services responded to a single vehicle crash on the Dipton Winton Highway, Southland.
A 24 year old single male occupant of the vehicle died as a result of the crash.
Serious Crash Unit has attended the crash scene and an investigation into the cause of the crash is underway.
