One person has died following a crash at the intersection of Oteramika Road and Mill Road South this morning.
Emergency services were alerted to the two-vehicle crash at around 6.35am.
One person died at the scene.
Police enquiries into the circumstances of the incident are ongoing.

Initial indications are one person received serious injuries and another moderate injuries.
A St John spokesman confirmed a patient was taken to Southland hospital with moderate injuries.
Police are investigating the circumstances of the incident.
