The fourth annual Wearable Art & Musical Extravaganza FibreOctave will be staged at Ascot Park Hotel on 12th June 2015 and once again will be in support of St John Ambulance, Invercargill Area. The show is produced by Inner Wheel, Invercargill.

Construction and submission of wearable art exhibits is now open to the public for June 2015.

A-Fish-out-of-Water---Gaye-McElroy

Submissions will be selected for exhibit and judged for the single prize package of air fares and tickets for two to WOW in Wellington. There are no restrictions on materials used which could be recycled, reinvented or couture. The brief to those creating wearable art is simple; exhibits must be wearable and must be art. This is an opportunity for anyone creatively inclined to create wearable art. Exhibit Entry . ENTRY FORMS must be in by Monday, 13 April 2015.

The response to ticket sales has been huge and the show has consistently sold out 6 weeks in advance raising approximately $37,000 for St John Ambulance, Invercargill area. FibreOctave has captured the interest and support of the people of Southland and is rapidly becoming the art experience in Southland.

Inner Wheel is one of the largest women’s organisations in the world which began as a friendship club for the wives of Rotarians.
