Just announced, Elton John will be back under the roof during the New Zealand leg of his global Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour on Tuesday 4 February 2020. 35,500 southern fans were entertained by the legendary star when Sir Elton was the opening concert at Forsyth Barr Stadium on 25 November 2011.
DVML CEO Terry Davies is himself a big fan. “This is such a fantastic result for the Stadium, city and fans, that they will get the opportunity again to see this super star of his farewell tour. We’re so pleased that he’s coming back to Dunedin as his only South Island concert. His music is timeless and adored by so many, we’ll be looking forward to another sell-out crowd.” Tickets go on public sale on Thursday 14 February and fans are reminded to only purchase their tickets through the official ticket agency, Ticketmaster for the Dunedin concert.
