Police made an early morning raid on an Invercargill home leading to an arrest.

This morning Invercargill Police, along with the AOS squad executed a search warrant at a Shannon Street address in Invercargill says Acting Detective Sergeant Matt Wyatt.

This was in relation to drug dealing and firearms possession and is a continuation of the targeting of organised criminal networks.

As a result a 26 year old male has appeared in court and is now remanded in custody facing methamphetamine supply and firearms charges.
