This afternoon (Friday 19th July) a driver lost control of their car, hitting the store frontage of Ascot Four Square on Tay Street avoiding major damage to the store.
A St John spokesperson confirmed no one was injured but the driver, an elderly woman was taken to hospital as a precaution.
A staff member from Ascot Four Square said “We are not sure how things ended up this way, but pleased no one was injured”. A clean up is underway and the shop is open for business.
The car has been removed from the accident.
