Driver Does Burnout, Failed To Stop For Police – Nek Minnit Car Crashes At Lorneville

Police spotted a car doing a burnout at the intersection of Kelvin Street and Herbert Streets at around midnight. The car was signalled to pull over but it failed to do so.

A police media spokesperson said, It looks like Police initially pursued the car but potentially lost sight of it.

A few minutes later Police were notified that a car had crashed at Lorneville and found that it was the car that had been involved in the pursuit. The driver had left the scene before Police arrived. The car has been towed and further enquiries will be undertaken this morning.
