Invercargill City’s Mayor, Nobby Clark, experienced a minor heart attack last Wednesday, leading to his hospitalisation. Initially admitted to Southland Hospital, he was later moved to Dunedin Hospital for additional tests. Deputy Mayor Campbell, who has been in contact with Mayor Clark, shared that Clark is eager and positive about getting through the surgery and starting his recovery. While Mayor Clark recuperates, a process likely to span a couple of months, Deputy Mayor Campbell will temporarily handle his responsibilities. Campbell is committed to ensuring the continuity of Mayor Clark’s projects during this period.
