The next ILT pub to get a rebuild after the Northern and Southland venues it’s the Waikiwi’s turn with demolition of the old CVC truck site on the corner of Gimlet & North road.
ILT announced last year that they were planning to relocate and build a new Waikiwi tavern with a new yet to be named restaurant.
Construction is expected to start as soon as the site is cleared with plans to open before the busy Christmas trade.
The rebuilt Northern has the Saucy Chef & the Southland Thar & Feather….what should they call the new restaurant at new rebuilt Waikiwi??
