FUSE day (Fun, United, Social, Engaged) 26th February 2016 marks a new event for Crowe Horwath Southern Region and a good effort in Corporate Social Responsibility as the over 135 strong workforce split into 12 teams and each support a charity of their choice in the local community.

While the teams have the choice of raising cash or kind for their chosen charity, the purple team “Fuse @ Large” (taken from the name of the event itself) have chosen to Support local organisation Age Concern.

The purple team are on a mission to raise the profile of this great organisation by educating the public on what this charity do (detailed below) and to make sure our elders are receiving the proper care and attention they deserve, reminding them they are still important members of our community whilst also  completing some maintenance to the Age Concern premises on Forth Street on the morning of the 26th February.

This will be followed by the Southern offices uniting for a dinner and function at newly opened Bill Richardson Transport World.

So please like and share this post and lets see how many people this can reach so as much of the community as possible can learn about this service and reduce the isolation many elderly people face on a daily basis.

To contact Age Concern to see how they can assist the elderly people in our life please call 03 218 6351 or visit them at 50 Forth Street, Invercargill 9810
