SH99 WRIGHT’S BUSH, SOUTHLAND – CRASH – 7:05AM
The road remains CLOSED between Waimatuku Bush Rd & Argyle-Otahuti Rd, due to a prior crash. Eastbound to detour via Waimatuku Flat Rd & Argyle-Otahuti Rd onto SH99 & reverse for westbound. Next update by mid-day.

A serious two-vehicle crash around 9:55pm Friday night on SH99 between Waimatuku Bush Road and Thornbury Waimatuku Road.

One person was transported to Dunedin Hospital via helicopter with serious injuries.
