A steady flow of people came through the Crafters At Latitude 46 market over the weekend.
Held twice a year in Invercargill for the past decade, crafters make a wide variety of items such as clothing, bags and jewellery.
Committee member Wendy Butler said across the board, all of the stallholders did okay and were all happy with how the weekend went.
“It was another fantastic weekend with lots of laughs.”
The committee runs between 65 and 70 stalls each year at Onslow Street and some vendors have been coming every year since the beginning.
Wendy said it was good to see people out and about and supporting the stallholders, and it appeared they were putting more thought into what they purchased.
“And people are planning more ahead than they used to.” Stallholders as well were paying upfront to secure their space at the next one on October 12 and 13.
This year the committee decided to donate $500 towards Hospice Southland, which was personally gifted to the organisation on Sunday.
“It gives us such a buzz to do that. We took down the cash and they were just over the moon.”
