Councils Never Authorised Wastenet Tender – Request For An investigation Lodged With Auditor General

EXCLUSIVE: A request for an investigation into the entire Wastenet Tender process has been lodged with the Auditor General on the grounds the tender was not authorised by Gore District Council and Invercargill City Council. Southland District Council is yet to confirm they authorised it, an unnamed source told whatsoninvers. nz News.

This contract is for a 15-year term with a contract value in excess of $20 Million.
