Invercargill City Council adopted its 2015-2016 Annual Report at the Inaugural Council Meeting held this week
Chairman of the Finance and Policy Committee, Deputy Mayor Darren Ludlow said the Plan showed a good result for the year.
“It received a clear audit report from Audit NZ and showed that Council is in a strong financial position and is operated in a prudent financial manner. Council met seven out of the eight financial benchmarks, with the eighth to be met as larger capital projects are achieved in the 2016-2017 year.”
