Mike King says if we are to prevent suicide across this great country of ours we need to disrupt our conventional thinking – that means doing more listening to our young people and focusing in on attitudinal and behavioral change.

At KTL our foremost intention is to change the way people think about and perceive mental illness and depression. Our message to the people of New Zealand is talk openly about the difficulties often associated with mental illness, to not judge those who might be suffering from depression, but instead, listen and support those people, and if needed pathway them to the appropriate professionals.
