Bluff Promotions are calling for floats, community groups, stilt walkers, performers, and others who can lend colour and activity to the annual Christmas Parade in Bluff on Sunday 6 December.
Already a number of groups have committed to the parade with the Bluff Coast Guard, Bluff School, Foveaux Pearls Leisure Marchers, Southern Society of SteamPunk Steamologists and plenty of others committing to provide a colourful spectacle to get Bluff’s celebration of Christmas underway. Of course Santa Claus will be a part of it all as he makes his way to the Oyster Festival site to meet and greet the children.
The parade starts on Gore Street (SH1) at 1.00pm on the day and makes its way to the Bluff Oyster Festival site where the very popular Christmas In The Bluff gala day organised by the Christmas In The Bluff Committee will be underway with plenty of entertainment and fun for the whole family.
Anyone wishing to be a part of the parade can contact the co-ordinator, Alison Patrick on 03 212 7496 or at [email protected]
