Emergency services were called to the scene of a car vs van crash on Dipton-Winton Highway near Limehills at 9.35am on Friday morning.
A police spokeswoman said two people were involved in the crash but there were no injuries.
The road was blocked on one side with just one lane open, she said.
A fire spokesman said fire crews were called to the scene as the caller was unsure if the occupants were out of their cars.
When the fire crew arrived from Winton, the two people involved were out of their cars.
No ambulance was required, he said.
The vehicles crashed into the Swales Creek Bridge but there was no damage to the bridge. A tow-truck was required, he said.
Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
