Body Discovered In Park Next To Skate Park

Police and emergency services were called to the park next to the skate park on Ness street after receiving calls from a members of the public that a body believed to be a male was lying in the park.

Ambulance staff were attempting to resuscitate and an area of the park has been cordoned off.

The death of a man found in an Invercargill reserve is not being treated as suspicious, police say.

It has been referred to the coroner.
