A craft market at the Bluff Town Hall on the main street of Bluff will take place Today (Saturday 25 June) from 9am until 1pm.
Bluff Promotions are organising the event which will feature a wide variety of items including knitwear, jewellery, steampunk spiders, photography, plants, candles and plenty more.
There will be several raffles for prizes including hampers, a voucher and a spectacular cake plus Devonshire Tea’s on sale, plus food and beverage offerings from the Let’s Be Frank’s hot dog caravan, Donut Dude and Coffee 2U while JEM entertain on stage from 11.30am until 1.00pm.
At 10.00am the winners of the Children’s Matariki Colouring Competition will be announced with all entrants receiving prizes and all their work on display in the hall.
Also on display are the designs submitted for the Welcome To Bluff Sign with the opportunity for the public to vote for their favourite.
A silent auction will also be held for two ceramic elephants donated by a Bluff resident with proceeds going to St John.
Later in the day the Oyster Roister Costume Ball takes place at the Eagle Hotel in Bluff with a ‘naughtycal’ (nautical) costume theme. Kim Dusty will entertain and supper is provided. Tickets are $45 each and door sales will be available. The Ball commences at 7.00pm.
