On Monday (15th October) Greg Kelly (known as Kell) arrived in Invercargill part of his fundraising tour riding the length and breadth of New Zealand on a Harley-Davidson over 5 weeks, raising awareness for Younger Onset (Frontotemporal) Dementia, of which he was diagnosed with in 2016, aged 59.

Last year he rode the length and breadth of Australia, approx 26,000kms in 11 weeks and is also continuing on to the US.

What’s On Invers caught up with Greg for his official welcome to Invercargill by Southland Town Crier Lynley McKerrow at Walmsley House.

Greg said we are feeling very supported by the people of Invercargill. Thank you to Sherrie and Elvin for putting us up for the night in your beautiful home. They then continued up the South Island.
