Southland, New Zealand: After feeling the effects of the nationwide lockdown, Awarua Synergy is joining many other businesses that can open at a limited capacity
for Alert Level 3.
Once the country moves into Alert Level 3, Awarua Synergy will be able to reopen, albeit at a limited capacity. The office will continue to be closed to customers at this time.
The team has been innovative during Level 4 through Shan’s video tips, technical trainings, and virtual quotes, but with winter approaching fast, many families will be enduring the cold and have increased energy usage. Those without insulation or a heat pump will be at a disadvantage, and the team is eager to get back to work helping them.
As a result, Awarua Synergy will be open for heat pump and insulation installs. The team is excited and prepared to help get these homes ready for winter and will be taking additional precautions to ensure the safety of the customers and themselves.
Together with the funding support of the Southland Warm Homes Trust, Awarua Synergy will continue to offer the Warmer Kiwi Homes Programme 92% subsidised home insulation and heating installations for those eligible low-income homes across Southland under the Level 3 restrictions.
During Level 3, all customers will be called prior to an in-person visit. This pre- screening is to ensure that they are feeling well and have no symptoms of illness.
Should the customer or team member at Awarua Synergy have any symptoms of illness, the appointment will need to be rescheduled for a later date.
Along with 2 metre social distancing, rigorous cleaning will be undertaken by our team members for their gear and surfaces of the house that they touch, including
sanitisation.
These precautions will ensure that families can receive the help they need for winter while still staying safe and protected from COVID-19.
