There was a fire in the former Mataura paper mill  that stores the ouvea premix in Mataura this afternoon. The fire is now out. In a statement from Fire & Emergency NZ Otago-Southland says no water came into contact with the ouvea premix. The building has been checked for ammonia gas. FENZ stresses
