Arrest Made After Reports Of Man With Firearm

We received many messages to the What’s On Invers fb page about an incident in Beatrice street where armed Police were seen late Saturday night.After contacting the Police media centre confirmed Police were called about 10.25pm with a report of a man on Beatrice Street allegedly in possession of a firearm. Police attended and one person, a 33-year-old man, was taken into custody. Charges have not been entered at this stage.
