It’s been a busy week for the criminal elements of our city, are we in the middle of a crime wave or is this just the beginning? There was a failed ram raid attempt at Blackwoods on Bill Richardson Drive this morning around 5:30am, a store staff member said.
The stores main window was damaged during the ram raid, but the crooks failed to gain entry. whatsoninvers.nz had messages to our Facebook page of the damage. A temporary hoarding was being constructed by tradies when whatsoninvers.nz called in.

Police were called about 5.35am to a Windsor Street commercial premises following a burglary where a window had been broken to gain entry. Enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing.
