Another Serious Crash on Frankton Road, One Person Dead

One person has died and another person is seriously injured following a serious crash on Frankton Road this afternoon.

A diversion is in place for Queenstown traffic heading to Frankton via Suburb Street and Panorama Terrace.

Motorists are advised to avoid Frankton Road.

Police are responding to a serious crash on Frankton Road SH 6A Queenstown, near the intersection with Hensman Road in Queenstown.

The vehicle collision was reported at 3:37 pm.

Motorists are asked to avoid the area if possible, Frankton Road is likely to be down to one lane.

Police are doing all they can to get the traffic moving again.
