On Friday February 6th The Southland District Rugby League held its annual 9’s competition at the Midland Grounds at Winton.
There was five teams in the competition : Winton Warlords , Mataura RLC , Cooks , He Tauaa RLC and Lonestar Cowboys .
It was a good competition. There was five rounds. The weather was very inclement but everyone still had a great day out.
The SDRL Club competition for 2015 will commence after Easter.

Round One: Winton Warlords v He Tauaa RLC – He Tauaa won
Lonestar Cowboys v Cooks – Lonestar Cowboys won
Round Two: Winton Warlords v Cooks – It was a draw
Lonestar Cowboys v Mataura RLC – Lonestar Cowboys won
