The gravel hillclimb was conducted by the Eastern Southland Car Club at Reserve Road , South Otago on Saturday July 18th 2015
The event was well attended with 33 entries from around Otago and Southland. Of much interest was Highlands Motorsport Park owner Tony Quinn competing in a 850 hp Ford Focus car that was seen at Race To The Sky Earlier this year. Great to see Tony at local car club events.

There was a small slurry of snow about halfway through the event which made the road a bit more challenging !
Quite a lot of the competitors used the event as a good run for their cars ahead of the Catlins Rally which is on the 8th of August.
