A Market With a Twist

Christmas is upon us and The Thieves Alley Christmas Market in Bluff this Saturday may well be the perfect place to pick up those unique Christmas gifts.

The market takes place on Saturday (3 December) between 10am and 2pm in the alley next to The Eagle Pub & Hotel at 134 Gore Street, a unique location for a unique market with a steampunk twist. If you are arriving from outside of Bluff just drive on down SH1 and keep an eye out for the steampunk trike advertising the market as your marker for the alley.

Features will include wireworks, crafts, lots of handmade items, plants, honey, Thai food, coffee, hot dogs and plenty more. There will be plenty of stocking stuffers, just perfect for Christmas!

The alley is also home to the infamous Badarse Rebel in his den, the studio where a giant dragon and other unique creations are shaped in flame and steel. The dragon will debut in the annual Bluff Santa Parade on Sunday 11 December. There will be examples of his work on display, as well as the work he and his artist partner Megan do together, and visitors to the market can order commissions from them.

So come along, pick up some unusual Christmas gifts…buy something for yourself and meet some fun and inspiring people…. all while enjoying something to eat and drink.

The market is outdoors and will be weather-dependant.
